Terms of Service

These terms of service and contract terms apply to the downloadable PDF guides sold in the Ansiokas online store and to their purchase. By placing an order in the online store, you accept these terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing: they explain, among other things, how an order is formed, how the guides are delivered, and what your rights as a consumer are.

Service Description and Seller

Ansiokas is an online store that sells digital guides in PDF format to consumers. All products are downloadable files: the store does not sell physical products and does not offer subscription or membership services. Purchasing does not require creating a user account.

The seller is:

Ansiokas

Customer service and support: ansiokastuki@gmail.com

Order Formation and Payment

A binding contract is formed when you have successfully completed payment at checkout. You will receive an order confirmation by email.

Payment is made through the Stripe Checkout payment service, which supports card payments and other payment methods offered by Stripe. The payment transaction is processed by Stripe: we do not see or store your payment card details.

Prices

All prices are displayed with value added tax included ("incl. VAT"). The value added tax is determined by the buyer's country and is calculated automatically at checkout. The final price, including taxes, is always shown before you confirm the payment. The seller reserves the right to change prices; changes do not apply to orders already placed.

Delivery of Digital Content

Delivery is immediate and electronic. Once payment has been completed:

  • the download links are shown immediately on the thank-you page, and
  • the same links are sent to your email address.

The following conditions apply to the download link:

  • the link is valid for 30 days from the time of purchase, and
  • it allows a maximum of 5 downloads per guide.

If the link expires or you run out of downloads, you can get a new link free of charge by contacting ansiokastuki@gmail.com. We recommend saving the downloaded file to your own device immediately after downloading.

Right of Withdrawal

Digital content is subject to an exception, under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, to the 14-day right of withdrawal. Before payment, you are asked to tick a consent checkbox:

"I consent to the digital content being delivered immediately after payment, and I understand that I lose my 14-day right of withdrawal."

Giving this consent is a precondition for completing the purchase: without ticking the box, the order cannot be placed. Once you have given this consent before delivery begins and the content is delivered to you immediately, the order carries no 14-day right of withdrawal. The consent is stored with the order details. This does not limit your rights in situations where the product is defective (see the section Defects and Complaints).

License

When you purchase a guide, you receive a personal, non-commercial license to it. You may download the guide to your own devices and use it for your own purposes.

You may not:

  • share the guide or the download link with others,
  • resell the guide or use it commercially,
  • publish the guide or parts of it, for example online, or
  • create modified versions derived from the guide for distribution.

The content and layout of the guides are protected by copyright. The license does not transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights to you.

The Guides Contain General Information

The guides contain general information and practical instructions. They do not constitute individual financial, tax, investment, or legal advice, and their content has not been prepared for your specific situation. We give no guarantee that following the instructions in the guides will produce a particular financial or other result. If you need advice tailored to your own situation, consult a professional in the relevant field.

We aim to keep the information in the guides up to date, but legislation and practices, for example, may change after a guide is published.

Defects and Complaints

If there is a problem with the delivery or the product (for example, you do not receive a download link, the file does not open, or the delivered guide does not match what you ordered), contact ansiokastuki@gmail.com. Include your order details in the message (for example, the email address used in the order confirmation and the product purchased), and we will look into the matter.

We will remedy the defect primarily by delivering a working file or a new download link. If the defect cannot be remedied within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a price reduction or to cancellation of the transaction in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. You always have the rights provided by the Finnish Consumer Protection Act with respect to defects in digital content, and these terms do not limit those rights.

Limitation of Liability

We are responsible for ensuring that the delivered guide corresponds to the product description and that the file is technically functional. However, we are not liable for:

  • damage resulting from applying the information in a guide to an individual situation (see the section The Guides Contain General Information),
  • indirect damage, such as lost income or profit, or
  • problems caused by the buyer's own devices, software, or internet connection.

In all cases, our liability is limited to no more than the price paid for the product in question. These limitations do not apply in situations where liability cannot be limited by law, and they do not reduce the rights that consumers have under mandatory legislation.

Personal Data

To deliver orders, we process your email address and your order details. We do not use marketing cookies, and we do not sell your data. More detailed information about the processing of personal data can be found in the Privacy Policy.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms and purchases made in the online store are governed by Finnish law. This does not, however, reduce the protection you have under the mandatory consumer protection legislation of your country of residence.

If a dispute related to a purchase cannot be resolved through negotiation with us, you can:

  • contact the consumer advisory services of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (kkv.fi/kuluttajaneuvonta), which provide guidance and mediation free of charge, or
  • refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi); before doing so, it is advisable to contact the consumer advisory services first.

If you live in another EU country, you may also turn to the consumer authority or an alternative dispute resolution body in your own country.

However, if you encounter a problem, we hope you will first contact us at ansiokastuki@gmail.com. Most matters are resolved fastest directly through customer service.
